Job Description
As a mortgage underwriter at DLC source mortgage centre you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy completeness and compliance of mortgage loan applications. Your primary responsibility is to evaluate mortgage applications, Assess risks and ensure that all loan conditions are met in a timely and accurate manner. You will work closely with licensed brokers, borrowers and lenders to facilitate the mortgage approval process.
Qualifications
-Previous mortgage underwriting experience minimum 3 years with a brokerage or bank
-Detail orientated: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
-Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients, brokers and lenders
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple loan applications simultaneously and meet deadlines
-Mortgage License: will be considered a strong asset but not required
Work Schedule
This is a full time work from home position with a standard workweek of 40 hours. There will be occasional in person meetings that require attendance in Calgary. The successful candidate will be located in Alberta. While flexible working hours are allowed the employee is excepted to prioritize urgent tasks, calls and files before adjusting their work hours. Availability between the hours of 9am-5pm is required to facilitate effective communication with clients and team members.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
