Job Overview:
As a Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor at Bank of England, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our loan processing function. About the Position:
The Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor will oversee the daily activities of a team of loan processors, providing guidance and support as needed. You will work closely with underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure timely loan decisions and maintain a strong relationship with management to share and implement best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Process Loan Files: Ensure timely and accurate loan file management from application to closing.
• Mentor and Train Loan Processors: Develop and implement training programs to enhance loan processor skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with IT and External Companies: Ensure the loan origination system is working properly for processing staff and streamline processes and procedures.
• Work Directly with Underwriting: Facilitate timely loan decisions and maintain open communication channels.
• Manage Loan Officer Pipelines: Maintain a pipeline of loan files for assigned loan officers.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of four years of related mortgage lending experience is preferred.
• Skills: Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency skills with MS Office, Excel, and mortgage loan applications/software.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of loan processors.
