What You Will Do:
• High-visibility patrol of assigned areas, on foot and in company vehicles
• Ensure the security of all personnel, visitors, and the general public
• Respond against theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fire
• Monitor property access control
• Investigate and report suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches
• Enforce client informed policies
• Communicate with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments
• Respond to and investigate alarms, ensuring properties are secure and in order before departing
Shift Details:
• Part time: Must be able to work Friday & Saturday Overnight
• Shifts: Friday- 11:45pm-08:00am, Saturday- 08:00pm-08:00am
• Mobile patrol team works out of the main operations office in EDMONTON, which is accessible by transit.
You Are a Great Fit If You:
• Hold a valid AB Security License.
• Hold Mobile Security experience of 2-3 years. (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
• Have a valid Class 4 or 5 Driver's License, with a clean driver's abstract (NO previous suspensions and/or prohibitions)
• Strong knowledge of Road Safety
• Relevant security experience
• Relevant experience in the security or customer service industry
• Excellent customer service & professional deportment
• High standard for safety & a passion for security
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Enjoy working as part of a team, but able to work independently without supervision
• Additional certifications are an asset: Occupational First Aid Level 1, 2, 3, AST, Etc.
