Techila Global Services is hiring a DevSecOps (Security Test Lead) Engineer with strong expertise in Application Security, SAST, and SCA tools. The role involves integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, validating vulnerabilities, eliminating false positives, and guiding development teams on secure remediation. Hands-on experience with Snyk or similar platforms is highly preferred.
Required Skills & Experience
5+years of experience in Application Security or DevSecOps.
Strong hands-on experience with SAST/SCA tools (Checkmarx, Fortify, SonarQube, Snyk, etc.).
Proven ability to effectively identify and manage false positives.
Good understanding of Secure SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.
Solid knowledge of web/API security, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding standards.
Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence security adoption across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrate and maintain SAST & SCA tools within CI/CD pipelines for continuous security scanning.
Analyze scan results, validate & triage false positives, and ensure accuracy of vulnerabilities.
Work closely with development teams to support vulnerability remediation and secure coding practices.
Collaborate with DevOps to automate security checks and enhance secure build/deployment processes.
Perform tool integrations (Snyk, SonarQube, Checkmarx, etc.) to strengthen security visibility.
Participate in threat modeling, secure design reviews, and architecture discussions.
Maintain documentation for security processes, standards, and tool usage.
Provide training and technical guidance to developers on Secure SDLC best practices.
