Job Summary :
The Data Manager - MIS Sustainability will be responsible for compilation, validation, analyze & summarize the sustainability data of the organization. The individual will work closely with the Head of Sustainability, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of sustainability data.
Job Role and responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage data compilation, validation, analysis, and reporting of sustainability data, including electricity consumption, water use, waste management, paper consumption, road transportation, air & sea freight data and other key sustainability indicators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Warehouse, Transportation, Branch offices, IT, and finance, to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sustainability performance, including key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Skills
Data management: Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools used to manage data, including, data governance, and data quality management.
Technical skills: Proficiency in using Excel with capability to consolidate data from different formats e.g. Pdf, Word, and Excel etc.
Analytical skills: Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
Attention to detail: Ability to pay attention to details and ensure that data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and solve data-related problems, such as data quality issues, anomalies in the data.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technologies, tools, and data sources to ensure that data management practices remain up-to-date and relevant.
Passionate about the development in the field of Sustainability and have strong desire to learn and succeed
Qualifications:
Graduate in Commerce or Science is preferred
Overall 3 years’ experience in the field of data management
Minimum of 1 year of experience in sustainability data management, reporting, and analysis preferred.
