Job Description:
As a seasoned Database Administrator, you will be responsible for delivering high availability and performance environments. Your expertise in Microsoft SQL server administration will ensure the smooth operation of databases across AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support database installation and configuration, monitoring, upgrade, and patching.
• Proactively monitor and analyze database performance issues.
• Perform SQL server upgrades and database migrations.
• Utilize AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and other monitoring tools to ensure database health and performance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 7-10+ years' experience.
• 7-10 years of proven experience in MSSQL database and PostgreSQL administration across on-premises, AWS, and Azure cloud environments.
• AWS DMS configuration and support.
• Automation using PowerShell/T-SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating databases in DevOps workflows.
• Expertise in cloud optimization and performance tuning.
