Job Title: Microsoft 365 Productivity Specialist
Location: Calgary
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Solutions Specialist to support the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft 365 productivity solutions. This role focuses on configuring and supporting SharePoint Online environments and extending them with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate to improve collaboration and streamline business processes. The successful candidate will contribute to building practical Microsoft based solutions while working closely with internal teams to support evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Own end to end build of SharePoint Online solutions, including hub sites, team sites, and structured workspaces aligned to business requirements.
Configure and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, and permissions.
Support organization and management of documents using SharePoint libraries, metadata, and folder structures.
Build and maintain Power Apps forms that support internal business processes and data collection.
Create Power Automate workflows to automate approvals, notifications, and routine tasks.
Assist in maintaining Microsoft 365 environments including SharePoint, Teams, and related collaboration tools.
Support Power BI dashboards and reports using data from SharePoint or other Microsoft 365 sources.
Assist with configuration and updates to Microsoft 365 solutions as business needs evolve.
Provide end user support and troubleshooting related to Microsoft 365 productivity tools.
Prepare user guides and documentation for Microsoft 365 solutions and processes.
Support testing, user acceptance activities, and deployment of new solutions or updates.
Stay current with Microsoft 365 productivity tools and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Two to four years of experience working with Microsoft 365 technologies.
Experience configuring and supporting SharePoint Online environments.
Working knowledge of Power Platform including Power Apps and Power Automate.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.
Ability to troubleshoot user issues and support Microsoft 365 productivity solutions.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a technical team.
Nice to Have
Experience building Power BI dashboards or reports.
Familiarity with Dataverse or basic data modeling concepts.
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 as a supporting business application within Microsoft ecosystems, including working knowledge of its configuration, data structures, and common integration patterns.
Exposure to Azure services or Microsoft cloud administration.
Experience supporting user training or preparing technical documentation.
