Metal Fabricator

We are looking for a talented and experienced Metal Fabricator to support our growing manufacturing operations. This role involves operating fabricating sheet metal components, CNC laser cutting machines and ensuring high-quality production output. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, hands-on experience with metal fabrication processes, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a production team.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate Laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering drawings and job specifications.
Select appropriate materials, machine settings, cutting tools, and parameters to ensure efficient and precise production.
Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, DXF files, and fabrication plans accurately.
Perform manual fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding, bending, drilling, tapping, and finishing of metal components.
Operate additional fabrication machinery such as press brakes, laser welders, or other workshop equipment when required.
Conduct quality checks and dimensional inspections to ensure components meet tolerance, finish, and customer requirements.
Monitor machine performance and detect issues such as tool wear, misalignment, or material defects.
Maintain production logs, job tracking sheets, and process documentation.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure reliable operation.
Follow workplace health and safety standards, ensuring safe handling of machinery, tools, and materials.
Work collaboratively with engineers, production planners, and team members to meet delivery schedules and project deadlines.
