Job Description – Merchant (Furniture Export & Domestic)
Location: Ratangarh, Rajasthan (On-Site)
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end merchandising, export, and domestic order operations.
Handle product development, sampling, costing, and production planning as per buyer requirements.
Coordinate with domestic and international buyers for approvals, updates, and smooth order execution.
Ensure timely order processing, dispatch planning, and shipment execution.
Manage ERP entries, sales orders, documentation, and order tracking.
Prepare and handle export & domestic documentation including Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, BRC, bank submissions, and export incentive documentation.
Coordinate with CHA, shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, and warehouses for smooth logistics operations.
Monitor shipment schedules, freight costs, delivery timelines, and shipment status updates.
Ensure compliance with Vriksh Certification, EUDR, CARB, BIS, social compliance audits, and buyer-specific requirements.
Verify container loading, stuffing, packaging standards, and dispatch accuracy.
Maintain Time & Action (TNA) plans, MIS reports, shipment records, and compliance documentation.
Coordinate closely with production, accounts, dispatch, and export teams for seamless execution.
Support audits, record maintenance, and compliance procedures.
Candidate Profile
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience.
Experience in furniture manufacturing/export industry preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, raw materials, wood species, metals, finishes, and accessories.
Knowledge of export documentation, logistics operations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple orders and coordinate across departments effectively.
Salary: As per industry standards, based on experience and qualifications.
