About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant to support our Design Team in developing innovative and high-quality menswear fashion pieces. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fashion design, eager to gain hands-on experience, and looking to contribute creatively to an emerging luxury brand. Some training will be provided
Key Responsibilities
Assist the design team in researching and analyzing current fashion trends, fabrics, and color palettes. Conduct competitive research and trend analysis across social media ect.
Create CAD artwork and digital renderings for customer projects using Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
Create CAD repeat prints in illustrator based on creative designer’s direction - for various men’s categories men tops, bottoms, and jackets
Send updates & communicate on CADs, trim details, etc. accordingly to the overseas factories as needed.
Support the development of print and color merchandising projects, ensuring alignment with seasonal trends.
Contribute to the ideation and development of new menswear designs for future collections.
Prepare line review presentation materials, concept boards, fabric and color boards, and flat sketches & review with Design team / Director for final selections
Make updates to tech sketches and construction of flat sketches as requested.
Check in fit samples with technical designer and log accordingly
Assist in updating the product development chart as needed
Assist in measuring flat garments as needed ( basic points of measurements) for development
Assist in creating Development Tech packs for prototype sample requests
Familiarize and study fabrications, contents, all garment construction in various men’s categories: woven shirts, woven bottoms, knit tops, outerwear and men's suits.
Candidate must have a good understanding of the following:
Understanding of menswear trends, fabrics, and garment construction.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Creative mindset with attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Google Applications, Microsoft office
Submitting a portfolio is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
