Job Description
Job Title: Lead – Digital
Location: Mumbai
Overview of the Organization
Pehlay Akshar Foundation started in 2008 with the core belief that every student has the right to an excellent education and to build the skills needed to be future-ready. We work with the philosophy of creating “safe spaces” for all – in classrooms for students, in the staffroom for teachers, and in the boardroom for our team – and believe in the power of collaboration and agility in responding to the needs of those that we serve. To create these safe spaces for students and teachers across India, we partner with State Governments to implement programs that change the way students learn, and teachers teach in schools.
About the Role:
Objective: Develop, implement and maintain all digital platforms and infrastructure of the hardware and software utilized in the organization.
Job Description:
● Define the product vision, scope and translating the product vision in user-friendly application.
● Developing creative ideas and concepts for Pehlay Akshar app and website
● Deep understanding of the market and applications for improvisation
● Create application wireframes and use cases.
● Work with cross-functional teams to create and execute the roadmap for the app
● Vendor management to ensure smooth functioning of the app and website
● Coordinating with the team leads and content team to ensure the content is up-to-mark as required
● Team player: the ability to interface and build relations at all levels
● Working with different vendors to create a robust Learning Management System for teachers and students
Required Skills and Knowledge Areas:
● Work Experience of around 3-5 years in the development sector (education sector experience is preferred)
Education Qualification – BCA, B.Sc,B.tech/BE in Computers/IT
● Candidate should be passionate about impacting Education in India
● Should have very good communications skills, English fluency is a must
● Project planning and management acumen
● Good qualities such as motivation, collaboration, stakeholder expectation management and should
be a team player
● Prior experience in vendor management
