The Medical Research Assistant Manager supports the daily operations of the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU), its staff, and the studies facilitated by the CTU. This role is responsible for performing administrative functions and regulatory management within the CTU according to applicable policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
The Medical Research Assistant Manager performs a range of activities, including set-up and ongoing study management at SWH, as well as general administration duties. They apply an understanding of central ethics and local governance processes, basic finance and budgetary knowledge, and document management to contribute to the overall cohesive study management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful applicant will have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in a relevant area of study and demonstrate strong administration skills. Prior experience and proficiency in data input and document management, problem-solving, time management, and organisational ability are also desired.
