The Opportunity
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail oriented Medical Reception to join our team. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly atmosphere for our patients and as a Medical Receptionist you are the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported throughout their visit.
As a Medical Receptionist at MIC, you:
will work at various sites throughout Edmonton and surrounding area.

Roles and Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients upon arrival, ensuring all necessary information is collected and accurate
Answer phone calls, and respond to inquires
Maintain and update patient records accurately and confidentially
Walk patients to their exams and change them according to the exam
Keep the reception area and change rooms clean and organized
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
High school diploma
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
Friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Valid driver’s license is an asset
Medical Office Assistant, Unit Clerk program is an asset
Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology is an asset
