Medical Laboratory Technician - Night Shift

LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician for the night shift in Mississauga, Ontario. This full-time role emphasizes chemistry skills and automated analyzer knowledge.

In this position, you will contribute to patient care by efficiently conducting laboratory tests and managing specimen data. Your role will involve triaging tests and maintaining the equipment according to established safety standards. You'll also ensure compliance with workplace regulations and collaborate effectively with your team under the OPSEU LAB collective agreement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute manual and automated testing following procedures
• Maintain clean and safe laboratory conditions
• Manage data entry and specimen triaging
• Maintain and monitor laboratory supplies
• Comply with quality assurance indicators

Requirements:
• WHMIS training essential
• Previous experience in a chemistry lab preferred
• Capability to handle biohazardous materials
• Excellent teamwork abilities in a dynamic setting
• Optional: Registered Laboratory Assistant (OSMT)
