You will be responsible for conducting tests, recording experimental data, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to. Responsibilities:
• Record all experimental data and test results accurately in both written and electronic formats.
• Organize and store chemical substances, fluids, and gases according to safety regulations.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols at all times within the laboratory.
• Maintain and update daily logs, equipment record books, and laboratory documentation.
• Clean, sterilize, and calibrate laboratory equipment regularly to ensure precision and safety.
• Order and maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide technical support and assistance in laboratory procedures and troubleshooting.
• Stay up to date with scientific and technical developments relevant to laboratory work at M B Patel Hospital.
• Assist in preparing laboratory reports and communicating findings to healthcare teams.
• Ensure the lab complies with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management systems.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Valid laboratory technician license and proven work experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Experience in handling laboratory equipment (electrical and non-electrical) and conducting tests.
• In-depth knowledge of QHSE management systems and laboratory best practices.
• Ability to handle potentially hazardous materials like flammable liquids and biohazards safely.
• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and laboratory database systems.
• Strong attention to detail with superb analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
