Medical Lab Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a laboratory setting, performing various tests and procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work in a hospital environment and contribute to patient care.

Duties:

- Conduct laboratory tests including phlebotomy and sample analysis
- Prepare specimens and samples for testing
- Maintain accurate records of tests and results
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory testing
- Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the laboratory setting

Skills:

- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques
- Ability to phlebotomize patients for blood samples
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory terminology
- Familiarity with working in a hospital or clinical laboratory environment
