We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Lab Technician Teaching Faculty to join our team. As a Medical Lab Technician Teaching Faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to aspiring medical lab technicians.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and training materials for medical lab technician courses.
• Conduct lectures, practical sessions, and laboratory demonstrations to educate students on various medical lab techniques and procedures.
• Assess and evaluate students' performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical lab technology and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and improve the medical lab technician program.
• Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
• Provide mentorship and support to students, assisting them in their career development.
• Contribute to the overall academic and administrative functions of the institution.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Medical Lab Technician.
• Possess excellent knowledge and understanding of medical lab techniques, equipment, and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Proficient in using laboratory software and other relevant technology.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing educational trends and technologies.
• Valid teaching certification or willingness to obtain one.
