Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Tutor

I am a student in the medical device reprocessing technician program at VCC (Vancouver Community College) for the May 1 - August 15 term and I am currently looking for a tutor. The ideal candidate will be someone experienced in medical device reprocessing technician and be able to meet 2 hours a week. The pay is $20/hr and scheduling is fairly flexible and I can meet online or in-person.

As a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Tutor, your job will be to help enhance my knowledge and understanding of the requirements of a medical device reprocessing technician, medical terminology, and safety standards. As a neurodivergent woman, I learn a bit differently than others and require assistance with reading comprehension and basic understanding of course material.

Interviews for this position will be conducted on zoom. Please note that this is an add for a tutor and not a medical device reprocessing technician job.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of medical terminology
Experience in medical device reprocessing and sterilization techniques
Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students
Familiarity with regulatory standards and best practices in medical device handling
Certification in medical device reprocessing or related field preferred
Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus
