Medical Biller

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Billing Executive to join our healthcare organization. As a Medical Billing Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of medical claims and invoices. Your expertise in medical billing, coding, and reimbursement will be essential to optimize revenue cycles, minimize billing errors, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, excellent knowledge of medical billing procedures, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care through efficient billing practices.

Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end medical billing process, including claim submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up.
Review and verify patient demographics, insurance information, and medical records for accurate billing and coding.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims to insurance providers, government agencies, and other payers.
Monitor claim status and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and rejections in a timely manner.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to address billing inquiries, resolve payment disputes, and negotiate payment arrangements.
Stay updated with industry regulations, coding guidelines, and reimbursement policies to ensure compliance and optimize revenue generation.
Conduct regular audits and quality checks to identify and rectify billing errors, coding inaccuracies, and compliance issues.
Generate financial reports, analyze billing data, and provide insights on revenue trends, reimbursement rates, and collections performance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers and other stakeholders to facilitate prompt claims processing and payment.
Train and educate staff on medical billing procedures, coding guidelines, and documentation requirements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Medical Billing Executive or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of medical billing procedures, coding systems (such as CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), and reimbursement methodologies (including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance).
Familiarity with billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Strong understanding of healthcare compliance regulations, such as HIPAA and CMS guidelines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.
Proficient in using productivity tools, such as spreadsheets, databases, and reporting software.
Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
