About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Media Researcher (Hindi) to monitor, analyze, and summarize news from leading Hindi-language newspapers and business publications. The ideal candidate should possess excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to identify significant news and prepare concise, insightful, and value-added summaries.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and scan prominent Hindi-language national and business newspapers on a daily basis.
Identify key news, trends, and developments across politics, business, economy, governance, and current affairs.
Prepare accurate, concise, and value-added summaries of important news stories.
Conduct secondary research to provide context and background for significant developments.
Maintain organized records of news coverage and research reports.
Ensure timely delivery of daily media monitoring reports and research outputs.
Verify information from reliable sources and maintain high standards of accuracy.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized media research based on project requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Hindi, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in media research, media monitoring, journalism, editorial, or content analysis.
Excellent command of written and spoken Hindi.
Strong understanding of current affairs, public policy, business, economy, and the Indian media landscape.
Excellent summarization, analytical, and report-writing skills in Hindi.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet research tools.
Preferred Skills
Experience in media intelligence or media monitoring projects.
Familiarity with leading Hindi newspapers, business publications, and digital news platforms.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and editorial judgment.
