Your Impact
Asahi Beverages is looking for an experienced Media Manager to join our Consumer Experience team. This is a senior paid media role focused on enabling best-in-class media strategy, planning and optimisation across a portfolio of brands. You will partner closely with brand teams, agency partners, and the broader Consumer Experience function to ensure media investment drives strong brand and commercial outcomes.
As a media subject matter expert. you will ensure plans are strategically sound, commercially focused and aligned to portfolio media principles. This role suits someone who combines strong technical media expertise with commercial judgement, stakeholder influence and the ability to lead agency partners effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage portfolio media planning, including timelines, budgets and approvals
Act as the key link between brand teams and agency partners
Review agency recommendations, identify shortfalls and negotiate refinements within budget
Support portfolio media strategy, principles and planning rhythms across Marketing
Partner with Marketing Effectiveness on MROI, insights and investment decisions
Build media capability across brand teams through best practice and market insights
About You
You’re an experienced media specialist with strong planning, agency management and stakeholder influence capability. You understand how media drives brand growth and can connect channel strategy, investment decisions, campaign performance and commercial outcomes.
You will bring:
8–10 years’ relevant media experience across agency, client-side or publisher environments
Experience planning and optimising significant media investment across multiple brands
Advanced understanding of media channels and how they contribute to brand and commercial outcomes
Solid knowledge of media performance metrics, ideally within FMCG or a similar environment
Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and influencing changes in direction or investment
Ability to translate data and campaign results into clear insights and recommendations
FMCG or portfolio brand experience preferred but not essential
