Media Buyer
Job Description
You are the analytical engine behind the screen. You’ll thrive here if you possess relentless attention to detail, live "hands-on-keyboard" in ad platforms daily, and take pride in flawless campaign execution, consistent tracking setups, and structured data management.
Our office is located in midtown Manhattan, and we currently work in-office four days per week (Monday–Thursday).
What You’ll Do
Campaign Building & Trafficking: Build, QA, and launch paid digital media campaigns across self-managed platforms, primarily Meta, LinkedIn, Google (including Demand Gen, YouTube), Reddit, and TikTok.
In-Platform Optimization: Conduct daily monitoring of active campaigns. Adjust bidding strategies, execute audience exclusions, manage budget pacing, and deploy creative swaps in accordance with planned flighting schedules.
Technical Operations & Tagging: Support pixel governance, conversion mapping, and overseeing event tagging via Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure accurate performance data links seamlessly back to ad platform algorithms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Media Planners and Search Managers to review media plans for operational feasibility. Work closely with Creative Strategists, Account Directors, and Project Managers to traffic newly approved ad variants smoothly.
Brand Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict brand safety frameworks (e.g., publisher exclusions, blocklists) and pixel setups aligned with client consent management platforms to safeguard institution reputations.
Requirements
Platform Expertise: 2–5 years of direct, hands-on-keyboard execution experience within Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google Ads. Fluency in other paid social platforms is a plus.
Process-Driven Mindset: Attention to detail regarding naming conventions, creative parameters, and budget allocations; ability to operate independently without manual oversight.
Data Literacy: Strong capability in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, data normalization, and diagnosing platform-level delivery discrepancies or tracking drops.
Agency Experience Preferred: Familiarity with mid-to-large account budgets, multi-brand environments, or deadline-driven marketing cycles is highly preferred.
