Our client, a leader in industrial manufacturing and engineering support, is seeking a Mechanical Technician 3 to join their dedicated team. As a Mechanical Technician 3, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Support Department, collaborating with skilled professionals to ensure the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will enable you to thrive and contribute meaningfully within this organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Technician 3
Location:Cartersville, GA
Pay Range:
What's the Job?
Modify, test, and repair machinery and equipment under the guidance of engineering staff or scientists
Prepare parts sketches, draft detailed drawings, and coordinate with outside contractors for parts fabrication
Review project instructions and blueprints to determine test specifications, procedures, and objectives
Identify, modify, and plan requirements for fabrication, assembly, and testing processes
Collaborate with team members to discuss design changes, manufacturing methods, and drafting techniques
What's Needed?
Associate's degree in engineering technology or a related field
5-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical support or engineering environments
Proficiency in creating sketches, engineering drawings, and performing basic calculations
Knowledge of engineering science and technology applications
Experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering
