Looking for solid workshop hours without the crazy roster?

We’re recruiting an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a busy workshop team in Heatherbrae working on underground mining equipment.

WHAT’S ON OFFER

$59 per hour
Casual position
38 hours worked from Monday to Thursday
9.5 hour days with a paid meal break
Long weekends every week, or overtime if you work on a Friday

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Overhauling underground mobile plant
Fault finding and diagnostics
Breakdown repairs
Component rebuilds
Preventative maintenance
Working within a safety-first workshop
WHAT WE NEED

Proven experience on diesel mobile plant (essential)
Strong fault finding skills
Workshop experience preferred
Safety-focused attitude
Reliable and team-oriented
BONUS IF YOU HAVE

Underground mining equipment experience
Forklift licence
