MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER

Digga is Australia's leading manufacturer of Machinery Attachments for the Earthmoving Construction industry. We are a family owned and operated, multi-award winning, global company, with 5 state of the art facilities worldwide, our product passion for providing total customer solutions is second to none.

We pride ourselves on our ability to manufacture up to 85% of components in house, here, in our 12,500sqm Yatala facility.

We are currently seeking a mechanically minded person for an Assembler role. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a safe and busy production environment and will not be afraid to get their hands dirty. They will be highly energetic; detail orientated and take pride in their work and working environment.

Whilst not essential, experience in mechanics or machine assembly would be highly regarded. On the job training is provided.

Essential requirements:

A background in mechanics or a mechanical aptitude
Demonstrated experience and skill set relevant to assembly functions
Ability to assemble and disassemble a wide range of mechanical components
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and have a good work ethic
Physically fit and able to be on your feet most of the day
The ability to follow instructions, learn quickly and work unsupervised in order to meet deadlines.
Reliable transportation
Forklift licence an advantage but not essential
