H2O Innovation provides public works management services operations assistance for water wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America.

H2O is currently seeking a Mechanic Helper to join our team in Long Beach, Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues in automobiles, light-duty trucks, heavy equipment, and light field equipment.
• Support routine and preventive maintenance tasks across various vehicle and equipment types.
• Aid in the repair of mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Work under supervision to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.

The Skills We Are Looking For
• Experience with diesel engines is a plus, though not required for this position.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background and motor vehicle checks.
• Must be willing to learn equipment operations for promotional opportunities.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, including H2O's department rules, policies and regulations.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with other personnel and supervisors.
• Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
