Job Description

Job Title: Secondary Mathematics Educator

De La Salle Institute is seeking a dedicated and visionary Secondary Mathematics Educator to
join our Applied Science Division. This role is designed for a professional committed to

• Assessment & Differentiation: Conduct regular student assessments and analyze performance data to tailor instruction to individual learner needs.
• Collaborative Development: Partner with the Applied Science Division to align crosscurricular goals and participate in comprehensive professional development with deans and mentors.
• Community Engagement: Maintain transparent, timely communication with families to involve parents and guardians as active partners in student success.
• Administrative Excellence: Maintain precise records of student progress and attendance in strict adherence to institutional policies.

Professional Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Secondary Education required.
• Licensure: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Senior High Mathematics endorsement (or currently in progress).
• Experience: A minimum of one year of classroom experience (including residency or student teaching) is preferred.
