Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced and competent person with knowledge and proven experience in the technical aspects of live television operations, live audio production and audio-visual services.

The successful applicant will also be required to assist in the setup, operations and control of CCUs for large multi-camera Outside Broadcast (OB) style events of parliamentary productions within and around Parliament House. Experience in these areas is highly desirable.

Knowledge and experience with SMPTE2110 broadcasting systems will also be beneficial. This technical operations role will challenge your ability to coordinate multiple tasks, your attention to detail, and your calm professionalism under pressure.

Job Specific Requirements:

The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected/Restricted) security clearance.

At DPS, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace that ensures all our people can contribute to our shared purpose. We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people with caring responsibilities, people who identify as LGBTQIA+, people from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people who identify as neurodivergent, and mature aged people.
