At Diocesan School for Girls, we are committed to inspiring young women to be confident, resilient, and ready to thrive. We’re looking for a motivated and organised Marketing Executive to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality marketing and communications across our School. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional (2–3 years’ experience) who is looking to build strong foundations in marketing, communications, and administration coordination within a supportive, purpose-driven environment. This a (0.8 FTE 30–32 hours) 12-month fixed term contract.
Job Description
Mō te tūranga: About the role
In this role, you will play an important coordination and delivery support function across the School’s marketing and communications activities. You will help ensure work is well-organised, consistent, and delivered to a high standard.
You will:
Coordinate the delivery of marketing campaigns and communications across digital and print channels
Support the creation and scheduling of content for social media, website, and publications
Assist in maintaining and updating the School’s digital platforms and content
Provide coordination support for key School events (e.g. Open Days), including logistics and promotional activity
Work with staff across the School to gather stories and content that showcase student life
Liaise with external providers such as photographers and designers to support delivery of marketing materials
Assist with tracking engagement and compiling basic reporting on campaign performance
Desired Skills and Experience
Ngā pūkenga me whai: We’re looking for someone with
Marketing degree
Up to 2–3 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or a related coordination role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Good written communication skills and attention to detail
Confidence using digital platforms and content management systems (or willingness to learn quickly)
A proactive and reliable approach with a strong willingness to learn and contribute
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across a diverse school community
