Location: Kolkata, with regular market travel Employment Type: Full-time Salary: ₹25,000–₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and performance About the RoleSkyknit Yarn Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and result-oriented Marketing Executive to expand and manage its distributor network. The role will involve onboarding new distributors, driving sales, coordinating retail marketing activities, maintaining distributor relationships, and ensuring timely payment collection. Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, approach, and onboard new distributors in assigned markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Encourage distributors to increase order volumes and expand retail coverage. Coordinate retail marketing activities, product promotions, displays, and local campaigns. Regularly visit distributors and retailers to monitor product availability and market performance. Follow up with distributors to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments. Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, collections, and distributor activity. Monitor competitor products, pricing, promotions, and market developments. Share regular sales and market reports with management. Coordinate internally to ensure smooth order processing, dispatch, and resolution of distributor concerns. Candidate RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. Prior experience in distributor sales, channel sales, retail marketing, or business development is preferred. Experience in textiles, yarn, garments, FMCG, or a distributor-led business would be an advantage. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-umanagement skills. Comfortable with sales targets, field visits, and payment follow-ups. Good working knowledge of MS Excel and basic sales reporting. Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently. Willingness to travel regularly within assigned markets. Compensation₹25,000–₹50,000 per month, based on the candidate’s experience, existing market relationships, and suitability for the role. Performance-linked incentives may also be offered.
