Job Description
A marketing consultant for Indian PSU tender procedures would be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to the organization in managing the tendering process for sale of goods to PSU. The job description for such a consultant would typically include the following responsibilities:
• Advising on the legal and regulatory framework governing tendering procedures for PSU, including policies and guidelines of relevant regulatory authorities.
• Assisting in the development of tender documentation, including bid evaluation criteria, technical specifications, and contract terms and conditions.
• Providing guidance on the pre-qualification of potential bidders, bid evaluation procedures, and negotiation strategies.
• Developing and implementing strategies to streamline the tendering process, reduce administrative burden and timelines, and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential customers, products, and services, and maintaining up-to-date market knowledge.
• Managing the tendering process from start to finish, including the issuance of tender documents, responding to bidder inquiries, managing clarifications and addenda, and conducting negotiations with selected bidders.
The ideal candidate for this position would have a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing tendering procedures for Indian PSU. They would also be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with a range of PSU. Strong communication and interpersonal skills would be essential, as would the ability to develop and deliver effective training and presentations. Finally, the candidate would need to be flexible and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where priorities can change rapidly
