Marketing and Social Media Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help establish and implement Manga Spot brand identity both in-store and online.
Develop, guide, and implement in-person and digital events and campaigns that support Manga Spot’s brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention, and revenue-driving initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to support promotions, product launches, and brand initiatives.
Manage and monitor all social media channels to identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with store management to maximize engagement while ensuring cohesive brand messaging.
Analyze performance trends and deliver insights that enhance marketing effectiveness across brands.
Oversee Google Business Manager and related listings (Google, Yelp, etc.).
Oversee administrative, organizational, and operational tasks related to marketing and social media.
Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing KWE’s social media presence for its hosted exhibition projects and affiliate presence at conventions and industry events.
Support general marketing tasks including asset organization, vendor communication, and administrative duties as needed.
Other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of professional experience in marketing, social media management, and/or brand strategy.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, reporting, and performance optimization.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools).
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Organized, adaptable, and eager to learn.
A genuine passion for manga, anime, and fan culture.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
