Mandarin Language Training (Contractor)

The Calgary Chinese Elderly Citizens' Association (CCECA) is seeking a qualified contractor to develop and deliver a customized Mandarin Language Proficiency Program for frontline workers.

This project aims to strengthen workers' confidence and effectiveness when communicating with Mandarin-speaking seniors, particularly in service delivery, information sharing, program registration, and professional interactions. The training program will focus on practical workplace communication and CCECA-specific service scenarios

Responsibilities

The successful contractor will:

Develop customized Mandarin language learning materials relevant to CCECA programs and services.
o Design and deliver training modules covering:

- Professional Reception and Organizational Introduction

- Assistance Processing and Operational Workflow

- Professional Refusal and Boundary Management

Conduct language proficiency assessments and pronunciation diagnostics.
Provide individual coaching and feedback sessions to staff participants
Develop digital learning resources and training scripts for future staff onboarding.
Monitor participant progress and provide a final evaluation report.
Deliverables

The contractor will be responsible for delivering:

Three customized Mandarin language training modules
CCECA-specific learning materials and service scripts
Language assessment and coaching services
Progress tracking and final project reporting
