Manager,GFORP-()Job:FinancePrimary Location:Asia-India-ChennaiSchedule:Full-timeEmployee Status:PermanentPosting Date:04/Aug/2026, 2:21:26 AMUnposting Date:OngoingRole Responsibilities Act as the second line contact for Finance and will be responsible for understanding the risk and compliance requirements and effectively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk and compliance matters.The candidate to ensure Finance function complies with the requirements of the Bank’s Operational Risk Framework. Key requirements of the role are as follows Facilitate the governance of ORF testing process / results across countries and groups. Ensure completeness of the control test results for finance across group and regions. Conduct thematic review and deep dive on the control effectiveness among countries / regions. Driving efficiency in ORF process end to end. To support M7 related queries. Linkage of ORF process with policies and standards. Support finance first-line by providing advisory, feedback and direction on operational risk events and remediation. Finance Risk Committee Preparation of pack for the Finance Risk Committee , Regional Risk meetings and for Andy Update with all the relevant details, risks events etc impacting finance. Ensure accurate and timely identification, classification and reporting of events / losses (GOL / POL / NM / ORE / MRE) in FRC. Rationalisation of the deck to ensure all relevant data is available. Monitoring and reviewing the action items and agenda for every FRC. Socialisation of the methodology for booking of losses across countries. Effective tracking of MRE and RCR at the right level with active collaboration with countries. Tracking of external events and people attrition with trend analysis for FRC. Any technology related issues / risks affecting finance needs to be identified and reported in FRC effectively. Regulatory and Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Compliance with PRA requirements. Key Stakeholders Chief Financial Officers, Financial Controllers and Finance Operational Risk Managers in countries and Group Functions. Group Operational Risk. Members and invitees to the FRC and other governance forums. Other Responsibilities As assigned by the unit head or line manager in line with any specific team objectives. Our Ideal Candidate University degree or equivalent. Qualified accountant, preferably with a Financial Services background. Clear understanding of the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Operational Risk Framework or equivalent experience. Regulatory Framework and Requirements: Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the firm operates, and the regulatory and policy requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
