Job Role Manager (US Accounting) Job Type: Full-time - Onsite Location: Ahmedabad Reporting to: Senior Manager Job Summary: As a Manager at Datastub, you will play a vital role in managing foreign accounting operations. The role requires demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high-performing team to set up multi-country finance & accounting operations including month-end closures and financial reporting processes. The opportunity to work closely in management reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, etc.What youll be doing: Review the work of Lead accountants on daily basis including month-end processes.Ensure timely filing of sales tax returns in compliance with regulations.Prepare for monthly financial reports & year-end audits and finalization tasks.Prepare Cashflow statements, budgets and forecasting reports.Develop & manage implementation for new client accounts.Managing the team of Lead accountants, Sr. accountants and Associate accountantsProvide mentorship and guidance to team members including conducting training for existing team members and new employees.Effective communication skills.Prompt resolution of any queries.Ensure SOPS, Workpapers and proper documentation of all the processes.Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.Own and maintain internal and external reporting dashboards to track the work progress.Effective work planning to ensure accurate & timely deliverables.Manage additional project-related responsibilities as well as ad hoc requests from clients and internal stakeholders.What youll bring: M.COM /Inter CA/ MBA/CA. CPA qualification is good to have.8-15 years of experience in accounting where recent minimum 2 years experience in US accountingProven experience of working as a manager for minimum 1 year in US accountingStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis and reporting including in depth knowledge of US GAAPCandidates with proven capabilities of setting up Multi country Finance Operations, process management, month end close and financial reporting processesExperience in developing teams and ability to manage a team of experienced finance colleagues of at least 8-10 peopleExposure on International assignments on Finance & Accounts Transitions, Auditing, Consulting, or other engagements is an added advantage for this role.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent decision-making & logical skillsStrong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.Proficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsExperience working with QuickBooks.Experience working with Bill.com, Odoo, Netsuite, Sage Intacct or hands on experience in any of the ERP is good to have.Additional Skills And Attributes For SuccessAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, aspirational, Self-learner and result oriented.About Datastub: DataStub is a professional and reliable accounting firm that offers bookkeeping and accounting outsourcing services to businesses across the United States and Canada.
