Manager, Travel and Creditor Products
Job Description
As the Product Manager, Creditor and Travel Insurance Products, you will support Creditor and Travel Products, and team in helping shape, advance and accelerate product strategy, enhance the client experience, and drive business profitability. You will execute and support initiatives that drive new products, features and capabilities to enhance our product suite, balancing short-term performance with longer term goals. You will also be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the Creditor and/or Travel product portfolio, proactively identifying and addressing policy and process opportunities, activities and improvements.
Please note this role is based out of our Meadowvale Business Park, Mississauga office and require 3-4 days per week of on site attendance.
What will you do?
• Conduct deep dives into select areas to improve business performance and implement solutions that maximize product effectiveness, efficiency and quality, drive sales, and improve client experience.
• Participate in projects from concept to implementation; including work in agile labs environment as a subject matter expert to increase and improve digital footprint.
• Assist with the development of business cases to support product development initiatives.
• Develop a deep understanding of the products and identify significant customer needs and pain points specific to Creditor and Travel Insurance market.
• Focus on driving excellent client experience at all client touchpoints, while leading resolution of all issues that impact the advisor or client experience.
• Assist with the development of competitive intelligence of the Creditor and /or Travel Insurance market.
• Work with a large network of contacts throughout the RBC enterprise and develop strong relationships with external partners.
• Support IFRS 17 Transition Team with adoption of standard and reporting of comparative period balances.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
• 3 or more years’ Product Management and Product Development experience
• Knowledge of Insurance products
• Experience working with data to generate insights and action plans
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• Ability to communicate effectively with business units, comfortable presenting finance data
