Job Description – Manager: Supply Chain & Private Label Operations
Job Title:
Manager – Supply Chain & Private Label Operations

Head – Supply Chain & Operations
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain coordination, especially with private label manufacturers for timely production execution, packing material procurement, and fulfillment. The position will bridge sales forecasts, purchase planning, inventory tracking, and vendor management to ensure business continuity and delivery across channels (GT, MT, Ecom, Wholesale, and Website).
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with sales and demand planning teams to align production schedules with market demand.
Plan and ensure timely procurement of primary and secondary packing materials as per BOM.
Liaise daily with private label manufacturers to track production timelines and escalate bottlenecks.
Develop monthly and weekly production calendars with buffer lead times.
Track inventory levels of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods.
Maintain and evaluate private label vendor performance based on SLAs and OTIF metrics.
Ensure timely dispatch of goods by coordinating between production, logistics, and warehouse.
Document and implement SOPs for procurement, vendor management, and dispatch protocols.
Forecast procurement needs based on rolling sales data and avoid emergency purchases.
Conduct weekly review meetings with vendors and internal teams to track execution vs. plan.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Graduate/Post-Graduate in Supply Chain, Operations, or relevant field
· 5–8 years of experience in FMCG or cosmetic industry, preferably in private label management
· Strong knowledge of production planning, procurement, vendor handling, and ERP tools
· Excellent Excel and data management skills; knowledge of Tally/SAP/Zoho preferred
