What You'll Be Doing:
Complete and supervise the maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul, alteration and inspection of all airframes, systems, and components.
Ensure that all maintenance activities are accomplished in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, aircraft manufacturers and company-approved policies and procedures.
Develop and implement a production strategy and policy and ensure that production strategy is efficient and practical.
Ensure proper coverage is in place to support flight activities, maintenance events, and nondestructive testing (NDT) needs.
Support the Stores department to ensure adequate repair parts inventory levels are maintained.
Enforce safety rules and actively promote safety awareness and compliance across the workplace.
Provide instructional and technical support to AMEs, apprentices, and crew chiefs to support professional development.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Planner regarding scheduling, priorities, and progress of assigned work.
Liaise with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) regarding aircraft serviceability and availability.
Ensure timely requisition of parts and materials required for non-routine maintenance.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager with respect to quality assurance issues and to determine the application of incoming manufacturer's service material and regulatory authorities' airworthiness directives

What You'll Need:
M1 and M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License.
Minimum of 10 years relevant aviation maintenance experience and 2-3 years progressive managerial experience in aviation maintenance.
Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems and Transport Canada regulations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance-related software.
Ability to support, strengthen, and promote safety and quality initiatives
