• Answer patient inquiries regarding admission procedures and room selection, providing clear and accurate information.
• Screen patients' medical insurance and payment information for validity, verifying third-party approvals when necessary.
• Guide patients through the admission process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and procedures are followed.
• Oversee the administration and management of patient admissions, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments to coordinate patient admissions and address any issues or concerns that arise.
• Provide leadership and support to hospital staff during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and staff members.
• Keep abreast of changes in hospital policies, procedures, and regulations, and ensure adherence to best practices in patient care and service delivery.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
• Prior experience in healthcare administration or management preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and staff.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Knowledge of medical insurance processes and third-party approvals is a plus.
