Functional Competencies

Software development, configuration and customization

Responsible for SOA integration of IT operations

Assist/perform the application deployments that will employ the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform

Provide technical support in configuring an enterprise application that will be calling services via the Integration layer

Ensure dev to ops of key projects, implementation and deployment of WebLogic/ESB services, performance tuning, cluster creation etc

Proactive identification of day to day issues and tracking the same for closure. Monitor Applications and raise alarm in case of any major/critical issue

Should be able to analyse logs specifically to WebLogic, JMS/MQs, REST APIs, Middleware and Database and trouble shoot problems for resolution

Working for issues requiring code changes from development side

Ensure end to end testing and change management before deployment into production environment

Understand and proactive monitoring of capacity utilization of various application and DB servers and ensuring capacity is augmented before any adverse impact on business

Periodic business engagements for ongoing issue resolution and solutioning
