Job Description
About the role:
Position: Manager - Corporate Strategy (Investment Banking)
Location: Pune
Experience: 4-6 years
What you will do:
Fund raise and M&A activities:
• Creating corporate pitch decks, company profiling, portfolio profiling of various businesses in collaboration with different business heads and senior management
• Interacting with investors/buyers/sellers, advisors involved in transactions and internal stakeholders
• Preparation of transaction collaterals including Information Memorandums, detailed Business Plans & financial models with analysis and insights
• Valuation analysis and support for deal negotiations
• Coordinating due diligence and documentation process
• Support in M&A initiatives of the company including assessment of targets for acquisition
Strategy related activities:
• Driving various strategy level initiatives for the different business segments of the company in gaming, esports, entertainment segments like new market entry strategy, growth strategy etc.
• Support in business review activities – financial analysis and assessment, project management and co-ordination
• Managing cross functional strategy initiatives and co-ordination between internal stakeholders
Pre-requisites:
• 4-6 years of work experience with an investment bank.
• 3-4 years of work experience in Media/ gaming/ consumer tech sector
Skills required:
• Excellent communication and language proficiency (written and verbal)
• Structured thought process and presentation skills
• In-depth understanding of Indian media, gaming and consumer digital businesses
• In-depth understanding of corporate finance and fund raising
• Ability to work in dynamic and unstructured work environment
• Broad understanding of technology concepts
Educational qualifications:
· MBA/ CA
