Job Description
Job Title: Manager – Accounts Receivable
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai (Near WEH Metro Station)
Experience Required: 5 to 8 years
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Manager – Accounts Receivable to oversee and manage the company’s receivables portfolio. The ideal candidate will ensure timely invoicing, collection, and reconciliation of customer accounts while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Experience in logistics or freight forwarding finance will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable Management:
• Manage the end-to-end AR process including invoicing, collections, credit management, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing for domestic and international freight forwarding services.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and drive effective collection strategies.
• Review and resolve customer disputes or discrepancies related to invoices and payments.
Credit Management:
• Assess customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to manage and reduce credit risk.
Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare AR reports, aging analysis, cash forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Analyze trends and suggest process improvements.
Process Improvement:
• Identify process gaps and implement best practices for smoother AR operations.
• Work with IT/ERP teams to enhance system efficiency and automation.
Qualifications & Experience:
• CA/ICWA/CMA or MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation industry.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Customer-focused approach
Candidates from Logistics or Shipping background will be a plus.
