Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Shift / Hours: 3rd shift 8:00pm-4:30am Monday-Friday with OT when needed.
Location: Carson City , NV 8+706
About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support high-speed production equipment in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay, a great schedule, and exceptional benefits.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, mixers, and ovens.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, FDA, and EPA standards.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment.
• Use welding, pneumatic systems, and electrical schematics to execute repairs.
• Maintain accurate documentation for completed tasks, work orders, and parts requests.
Skills and Experience:
• Experience:
• 2+ years in food manufacturing
• 4+ years as a maintenance mechanic
• Expertise in pneumatic systems, welding (MIG, TIG, acetylene), and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of PLC systems (preferred).
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime.
• Must possess professional tools, including voltmeters and amp meters.
