Job Description
Responsibilities
Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department and assist with supervising maintenance staff.
• Perform preventative maintenance on rides, attractions, and facility equipment while diagnosing and repairing issues as they arise.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pumps, pneumatic, and water systems.
• Ensure all rides and attractions operate safely and comply with TSSA ADM-WS standards.
Conduct daily facility inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain safe work practices and provide excellent guest service.
• Respond to guest repair requests and emergency situations as required.
Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout, PPE requirements, and hazardous materials handling procedures.
• Assist with snow removal and ice management when required.
• Complete maintenance documentation and maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.
• This position requires being on-call for emergency situations.
Qualifications
• Valid TSSA ADM-WS license is an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Previous experience supervising maintenance staff is an asset.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, water quality, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in water parks, hospitality, amusement, or similar environments preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights.
• Must be able to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements.
