• Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable part-time Maintenance Person. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, from electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs to minor maintenance issues at building. The successful candidate will have experience in facilities maintenance and possess a strong understanding of building systems. The position requires the ability to work independently. Must be dependable! The Maintenance Person will play a vital role in ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our beautiful, newly renovated building with all new systems. Prefer someone who lives near the property or in the building.
• Duties:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure the integrity and functionality of our facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repairs at property.
- Perform mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Paint and finish surfaces to maintain a professional appearance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with property manager to complete projects and tasks on schedule.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Be availabel for on-call emergencies
- Identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
• Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of residential building systems.
- Have own tools.
- Read and speak English.
- Physical stamina to perform maintenace, lifting and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
