Compensation
Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic B assists with the operation, maintenance and repair of the Hospital’s utility systems.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
Must complete in-house orientation program
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience And Skills
Speaks, reads and writes English
2 years of related experience and 1 year of trade school preferred.
License/Certifications
Current NYS Driver’s License.
Working Conditions
Other information:
Working Conditions
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
The position involves frequent strain due to strenuous work positions.
Other duties include snow and ice removal and unloading trucks.
