Qualifications
Two years mechanical experience in an industrial setting
Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
High School Diploma or equivalent
Communication: The ability to give full attention to what others are saying and communicating information so that others will understand
Initiative: Being proactive with seeking out work that needs to be done and being willing to take on responsibilities and challenges
Judgment/Decision making: Considering the relative cost and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
Teamwork: Working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal
Dependability: Being reliable, responsible, and committed to fulfilling obligations
Mechanical Knowledge: Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair and/or maintenance

Basic Job Functions:
The Maintenance Mechanic will be part of the team responsible for the maintenance, reliability, improvement, and upgrades of equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic will work closely with the production teams and other members of the maintenance team and shall be capable of covering maintenance issues on shift and/or days as a mechanic.
