Job Description
Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Labourer to support the upkeep and improvement of farm infrastructure across several sites in the Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend and Cooke Plains regions.
Working closely with the Farms Maintenance Manager, this hands-on role involves assisting with maintenance, repairs and general upkeep of buildings, equipment and farm infrastructure. The position offers a varied workload, travelling between farms locations and supporting both routine maintenance and project work to ensure operations remain safe, functional and well maintained.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys practical work and wants to contribute to the smooth operation of a large agricultural business.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning and adjustments on machinery and equipment
Assist with repairs to farm buildings, fences and infrastructure
Perform landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming and general upkeep
Assist tradespeople and contractors with projects and upgrades
Maintain records of maintenance activities and completed repairs
Respond to urgent maintenance issues and repairs when required
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You are a practical and reliable team member who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining equipment and facilities to a high standard.
You will bring:
1-2 years' experience in maintenance, labouring or similar work
Practical experience using hand and power tools (welding experience desirable)
Strong problem-solving ability and proactive work approach
Good time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Willingness to work flexible hours when required
Current drivers licence
