Job Description
Our client is a leading Australian organisation looking for committed and experienced Maintenance officer to join their team. Located in Western Sydney, this organisation provides beginning to end solutions for manufacturing and packaging for both international and national companies.
They are seeking to add to their team on a permanent basis. With consistent overtime available, this is an opportunity not to be missed !
About the role:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs
Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules to ensure optimal performance
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and resolve issues to minimise downtime and production delays
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and perform repairs as necessary
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability for occasional overtime as needed
About you:
Previous experience in the FMCG industry is desirable
Excellent attention to detail
Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
Have full-time working rights to work within Australia
