Job DescriptionMaintenance Carpenter - £220 pd, start 03/08/2026 Location: Hospital, Chelsea area Rate: £220 per day We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Carpenter to join the Facilities & Estates hospital team in the Chelsea area This hands-on role is ideal for someone with solid carpentry experience, particularly within a commercial, estates, or healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and general carpentry repairs Perform maintenance on doors, frames, locks, and general fabric of the building Work across the site to ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard Diagnose and resolve carpentry and basic maintenance issues independently Respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly and professionally Follow all site health & safety and operational procedures Requirements: Fully qualified Carpenter (essential) Valid Blue CSCS Card () Proven experience in maintenance carpentry Basic DBS (essential) or an in-date Enhanced DBS Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Contract Details: ongoing for the right candidate Start: 03/08/2026 Rate: £220 per day (based on 8 working hrs, 8 am to 4:30 pm) If you are available to start immediately and meet the above criteria, please get in touch today!
